Yves Saint Laurents House 'Chateau Gabriel' in Russian Vogue
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have gone ahead and bought a sprawling Chateau at Benerville near Deauville along the Normandy coast in France.
The house, Chateau Gabriel, was bought by the previous owners, renowned fashion mogul Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge in 1978. It was built in 1874, covers 850 square meters, has nine bedrooms, and is located inside a 30 hectares park with different kind of gardens (exotic, japanese, hinds park). There is also a helipad, stables and a datcha. The Chateau is surrounded by woods and views overlooking the sea.

The Fabric of Life
These photos are shot by my friend, photographer Ricardo Labougle. They were published in the World of Interior UK October 2009 issue and are probably one of the most beautiful fabrics styling photos I have ever seen. The fabrics itself are gorgeous, rich in color and patterns and I love the contract of this expensive/elaborate fabrics against the more rustic/simple interiors (Argentina).

Madi Weinrib

A while back, I stopped at her Studio on Broadway in NYC for a spot of lunch with her and her staff and she showed me her new collection of clutches. They are absolutely gorgeous and well made, they just go with every outfit. I was like a kid in a candy store. Look for yourself and also check out her website where she has more of her work: www.madelineweinrib.com

Carolina Irving Textiles

Carolina Irving, former Design Editor at House and Garden for more than ten years has finally launched her own textile design atelier. Made from 100% printed Hemp or Linen Fabric.
I especially love the organic, fashionable and classic, already slightly broken in look of the fabric, so when you upholster a chair or sofa, it won't look too precious.
She is also a very beautiful and stylish lady.
